Spotlight on the team: Danika Wolmarans
The year 2020 has been one for the books! We are thankful to say that we were able to expand our team as we welcome our newest member. A wise man once said, “Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results”. Here at Go4IT Africa, our Superstar team welcomes a new team member to the family.
Danika Wolmarans joined our Go4IT team on January the 4th with strong ambitions and a heart full of creative ideas ready to bloom. Danika’s reaction upon asking her what her role in our company is was pure evidence of our understanding that if everyone moves forward together, then success takes care of itself, these were her words,
“As part of the design team it is my role to help our clients define their brands’ unique style and voice through their website, we plan a great website that is best suited for the brand and appealing to the users. We create the visual aspects of the website interface, making sure that it is attractive and fully functional. Our goal is to build our clients reputation and their client base through design.”
Danika explains that she always enjoyed being creative and thinking outside the box, technology has always intrigued her, and learning about the latest trends in the technology world has been very exciting for her.
During the pandemic, Danika had the opportunity to develop her visual design skills, it was during this process that her passion for UX/UI Design became evident, and shortly afterwards it became clear to us that when you hand good people possibility, they do great things. Danika mastered a new program within a week and created an attractive, user-friendly website for MDM technologies, an IT Security company. Danika describes the experience as “Very challenging, but the creativity and development were very exciting” she then goes on to say that she had recently decided to change her career path and that even though the changes and challenges are very new to her and can be daunting at times, it is very exciting to get to know the clients and to build their dream websites.
Danika is looking forward to growing and learning new things alongside our champion team at Go4IT Africa, she believes that Technology and Digital Services are continuously growing, and UX/UI Design allows her to develop her skills in various design areas. It encourages her to let her “creative juices flow” as she explains it!

“Design is an amazing industry that encourages you to grow to your full potential. If you enjoy design, make an effort to learn about it, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Make sure you do thorough research and planning before starting with your projects and always keep your client’s target market in mind.
